 Community Benefit from Glory House:

  • Residents are prepared to become responsible, taxpaying citizens. 
  • Each resident placed at the Glory House saves the public $40,000 to $60,000 in tax dollars per year that would have been spent in prison or jail costs.
  • The community benefits when emphasis is placed on client accountability and restitution for the victim.
  • Residents learn positive attitude and critical thinking skills.
  • Residents provide a labor pool for our cities and counties.
  • Glory House residents pay taxes, buy products, and give back to the community. 
  • In 2008, our residents paid $21,329.00 in family support and $13,875.37 in restitution, fines, and fees. 
  • Clients earned over $600,000.00. 
  • Clients paid over $200,000.00 toward their own stay at the Glory House and discharged with almost $100,000.00.
