When clients leave Glory House, they often have few, or no, safe and affordable housing options. Many are forced to return to the dangerous and abusive situations that contributed to their problems. To address this problem, Glory House has partnered with Lloyd Companies and Minnwest Bank to build 24 efficiency apartments on the old Ice Rink property next door to Glory House.
The tenants will have access to the services offered by Glory House. In addition, they will be able to attend classes on renting a buying a home. They will be required to maintain a clean, safe and sober environment. The apartments will rent for no more than $555.00 per month.
